About the Author

Flo Ellingsen was born in a small town in southern Minnesota. A the age of 13, she moved with her gamily to Minneapolis, where she graduated from South High School and later from the Minneapolis School of Arts. She then began flying lessons and obrained her commercial pilot's license. She later became a partner in a flight training school that was affiliated with Macalester College in training there WW II wartime military pilots students. After selling that business, the rest of her career was spent as a domestic and overseas sales representative for a national electrical connector company.
