Robert A. Goerman (Weird Happens: Investigator Handbook) says some of the world's most famous strange and unknown tales, such as the Philadelphia Experiment, the Bermuda Triangle, and the Colorado crystal skull are not true. Goerman falls into a special category: neither "debunker" nor "wide-eyed believer" he is skeptical of many aspects of the paranormal, yet open-minded enough to investigate without going in with preconceived conclusions. His main interest at the moment is to provide a template for paranormal investigators to follow so that the evidence that will be accepted by the science community.
