Peter Lemesurier is the world's foremost authority on Nostradamus. At one time he believed all the hype about Nostradamus, but then began a thorough investigation into his life and writings.

According to Lemesurier, Nostradamus was unsuccessful at most things spending much of his early adult years in school. He became famous for curing many people of the plague, but actually he was the only one crazy enough to tend to those with the plague, and eventually as all things do the plague wore out and he got the credit even though he did nothing that actually worked. Many of his predictions are bent and twisted to make them seem accurate, but Lemesurier documents with great detail and source material, their inaccuracies.
