PETER LEMESURIER has done extensive research into the Maya and the Maya calendar.  Despite the work of respected authors in the paranormal field such as John Major Jenkins and Colin Andrews, as well as the many doomsday shows on the Discovery Channel, Lemesurier documents his claim that "2012 is not the end of the world". He says any respected mesoamerican scholar would agree. He also says any respected astronomer will agree that the "so called" unusual galactic alignment in December 2012 currently happens every year.
