Hilly RoseHilly Rose has been honing his skills as an investigative reporter for more than 30 years. He has covered just about every field of interest to the general public. Starting in the 1970s, he specialized in investigating the paranormal world and scientific anomalies. He has interviewed thousands of scientists -- from NASA experts to astronauts to home grown experts, attempting to cut through the mysteries of the unknown.

A seasoned broadcaster, respected by peers and fans alike, Rose did talk shows in both the Los Angeles and San Francisco markets. His on air work has won a flock of awards and commendations, including the prestigious California State Fair award for investigative reporting.

He is most proud of the work he did when the Marine barracks were bombed in Beirut, Lebanon. All records were lost and the nation agonized for days, not knowing who had lived and who had died. Hilly solicited AT&T to rapidly establish phone booths at the base so survivors could call home and reassure loved ones. The Marine Corps gave Hilly a plaque of recognition and appreciation.Hilly began his psychic investigations at KFI in Los Angeles. This 50,000 watt clear channel powerhouse covered almost the entire nation. Strange events began to happen on a regular basis. An intense cold spot developed in his studio (only when he was on the air). Spirit music developed by EVP knocked the station off the air. Many other strange events happened. Eventually the station moved to more traditional topics and current events, but Hilly continued his investigations through magazines, books, and TV.

Enjoying a variety of interests, Hilly has been reviewing restaurants for magazines (such as Palm Springs Life and LA Home), KABC (Los Angeles, KGO (San Francisco) and was the regular restaurant reviewer for Channel 9 in Los Angeles. His book But That’s Not What I Called About remains available, after 25 years, through Amazon.

Hilly started in radio as a child actor on daytime soap operas. He was one of only five people to ever appear on the very long running Ma Perkins program. He also appeared on Mr. First Nighter. Military service put an end to that part of his career. When talk shows were initiated, he knew he had found a home and started broadcasting at KCBS in San Francisco. He has been on the air ever since.

More recently, Hilly is best known for his work in investigating the paranormal. He was one of the first to utilize the internet to broadcast a show called The I-Files. This led to his being called to host the international Coast to Coast AM program when Art Bell decided to retire.

Hilly went on to do 500 shows for Sirius Satellite Radio focusing entirely on the paranormal. These shows can now be heard exclusively on Fatemag.com. Hilly also records new shows for FATE on a continuing basis, as well as contributing to the magazine in his monthly column, "My View of the Strange and Unknown." He also fills in for George Noory and Art Bell on the still dominant nighttime radio program Coast to Coast AM.

In 1996 Hilly decided to travel worldwide because. “It was the dream life I had always wanted.” He toured Australia, Alaska, Bali, Hong Kong, Singapore, Italy, London (14 times), Paris (6 times) and motored through the Native American territories of the Southwest (inspired by the books of Tony Hillerman). He also developed a series of radio shows for the Monterey Bay Aquarium about the amazing wonders of marine life.

Through it all, Hilly maintains a keen sense in what he believes to be a paranormal world. He continues to probe and challenge to, hopefully, make a breakthrough acceptable to science about the existence of the unseen world around us.
