During the summer of 2020 I was trying to find ways of meeting new friends and places to hike and walk as I was now separated from my wife for about a year and a half and feeling quite lonely and isolated in the midst of the Covid19 lockdown of Massachusetts. Everywhere where I could be among people or be with people that would help me feel less isolated had been shut down since March of 2020 and I was beginning to feel pent up and stir crazy. I had been going for walks along the coastline and in protected forests which helped reduce feelings of anxiety and depression, as I very much enjoy being about in nature, but I was not meeting anyone and really was not expecting too as it is very difficult to meet people in Massachusetts. Massachusetts natives are known for being not particularly outgoing or friendly and I was not at the point of wanting to join a dating service, because I was still reeling from the end of a twenty seven year marriage and was not interested in beginning a new relationship. So, I thought that I would try to find groups of people who would share my interest without being part of the dating scene. I was then struck with an unusual idea of trying something new to join to meet people who shared a strong interest of mine, but had not pursued before and began looking for paranormal investigative societies relatively near me. In the process of reading their websites came across information about The Bridgewater Triangle.
