Most everyone knows parts of my story but not all of it. As I said on many of the podcasts that I’ve been on there is a story for another time. If I’m honest I have never really wanted to tell this part of my story simply because I didn’t want people to worry. It also scares the hell out of me, and that’s not an easy thing to admit.
I really don’t want to re live this part of my story again but it was handed to me I guess as a gift or maybe even a curse. You decide which. Either way, for years I thought it was better to leave it alone and not really talk about it but now seeing what is going on in the world and what I saw could be coming to pass I thought I should put it on the record. I don’t want to worry anyone or scare anyone and hope that I am wrong. You can believe me or believe me not but I swear to God that what I am about to tell you is the truth.
In 1993 a friend of mine persuaded me to go with him to meet with abduction researcher Budd Hopkins. At the time Budd was speaking at a UFO convention there. We kept a low profile as I didn’t want anyone to recognise me but Budd met us and I agreed to undergo hypnosis. This took place in Budd’s hotel room. My publisher Philip Mantle obtained a copy of the cassette tape that had a recording of the hypnosis on it. A full transcript of this is published in full in my two books. I will however use part of it here as it deals with the part of this encounter that I have been reluctant to talk about. I must point out that I did remember a lot of this prior to the hypnosis:
CALVIN: I’m looking at, I’m looking around, I’m looking at the ceiling, I’m looking at the floor and I’m looking around for a door to get out, I know I came through a door. But I see me in a mirror, but I also see something else in the mirror, I’m not there by myself. I have a real strange feeling that I’m being watched, I’m being watched, that’s what I’m feeling, it’s more than that.
BUDD: Do you think one person’s watching or two, or more?
CALVIN: No, watch, just watching.
